Safety Warden - Kiosk

We're working to improve the lives of people in Somerset - and you'll be a key part of that. Your day-to-day work will involve:

• Taking money or card payment for parking on our beaches.
• Clear and effective communication with the public and colleagues to deliver safety messages and ensure smooth operations.
• The ramp onto the beach(s) is in good repair and ready for the day, ensuring safe parking of cars and enforcing parking restrictions.
• Berrow/Brean Beach. We're proud to be here for the people of Somerset, and that means everyone in Somerset. An important part of this is ensuring that we are as diverse and inclusive as the people and communities we serve.

We offer ongoing support, training and guidance to help you be the best you can be. But it will really help if you:

• Have good communication skills.
• Have the ability to handle cash and card transactions accurately.
• Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Part time position worked on a rota basis.
• Seasonal 2nd April - 1st November 2026.
• Salary is 13.05 per hour (pro-rata) for 20 hours/week and 30 weeks per year.
• Flexible approach to the working week as we are open 7 days a week and bank holidays.
