You’ll lead the Inventory Replenishment team, defining and executing strategies that support the growth of Farm Boy’s replenishment programs. Through strong cross-functional partnerships, this role ensures effective replenishment and product availability, enabling the Retail business to deliver a best-in-class fresh food experience. Here are some of the other ways you’ll help us stand out:

  • Lead the development and execution of Farm Boy’s replenishment strategies and programs to support business objectives.
  • Drive inventory performance, including: turns, fill rates, shelf-life, and product freshness, through effective use of forecasting, reporting, and data analytics.
  • Partner with Supply Chain to ensure the accurate and timely flow of information and product across the business.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to support and enhance inventory control models.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Inventory Replenishment and Category Administration teams, supporting daily operations and program execution.
  • Identify operational opportunities and implement strategic action plans to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to optimize planning and execution, ensuring alignment of sales plans and purchase orders.
  • Develop and implement distribution strategies that maintain appropriate inventory levels across all locations.
  • Guide the Inventory Replenishment team in the use of reporting tools to identify exceptions, risks, and opportunities in daily inventory management.
  • Establish scalable processes to address operational complexities, including space and production capacity constraints.
  • Contribute to overall team success by taking on additional related responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications

  • A genuine passion for delivering engaging and exceptional customer service.
  • Typically requires post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Inventory Management, or a related field, with 7 years of progressive experience in replenishment, supply chain, or operations within a grocery or food retail environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of retail replenishment, supply chain operations, and ERP systems within the food industry.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop, mentor, and inspire teams while driving continuous improvement.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a data-driven approach to decision making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective cross-functional relationships.
  • Passion for fresh food retail and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that includes extended periods of sitting, repetitive tasks, frequent computer use, open office noise, and a flexible schedule that includes occasional travel between stores and regions with reliable transportation.
  • Fluency in English;
    French language skills considered an asset.
