Position Overview
Leon's Furniture is now hiring a Franchise Operations Lead. The role reports to the National Franchise Manager and focuses on optimizing overall operations while assisting in expanding the business.
Responsibilities- Provide franchises with ongoing training and support.
- Aid in the creation of system projects that affect franchise stores to ensure proper clarification for training purposes.
- Network and build rapport with current franchisees via phone or email communication.
- Work with various corporate departments within the Home Office, including Systems, Network, Desktop, IT, HR, Marketing, and Merchandising as needed and in preparation for franchise store system conversions to the corporate database as well as recent franchise store openings.
- Manage complex franchise conversion and new opening projects, ensuring key milestones and tight timelines are met.
- Complete various additional responsibilities and meet project deadlines on time.
- Assist with ad hoc requests, as needed.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Leon's POS+, MMHF and policies in various departments beneficial.
- Experience as a Dept Manager beneficial.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Willingness and ability to travel from a few days to a few weeks.
- Ability to work independently and with little supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive, helpful attitude.
- Strong time management and project management skills; able to balance multiple shifting priorities and ensure tight timelines are met.
- Bilingual in English and French an asset, but not necessary.

This position is based out of our Home Office at 45 Gordon Mackay Rd., Toronto, ON.
