Experienced Meat Cutter Food Store

Join our team as an Experienced Meat Cutter at the Yorkton Food Store. You will utilize your skills in meat preparation and customer service to enhance the shopping experience.

This full-time position is ideal for someone with a Retail Meat Specialist Certificate or equivalent training. You will be responsible for expertly cutting, merchandising, and maintaining the meat department.

Your role is crucial in ensuring our customers feel at home during their visit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use knives and tools to cut and trim meats

• Fill and merchandise meat display cases

• Receive and inspect meat products upon delivery

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitization in the meat room

• Help with inventory control and record-keeping

Requirements:

• Retail Meat Specialist Certificate or relevant experience

• Trustworthy, results-oriented attitude

• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
