Online Assistant

Picking and selecting the best quality products on the shop floor that online customers have ordered ready for it to be delivered to their doorsteps – or providing brilliant substitutions where products are out of stock.

If you are happy with early morning starts (most shifts start at 4am) and can work flexibly across the store in a fast‑paced, physical and high‑energy environment, you are a good fit for this role.

• Picking and selecting the best quality products on the shop floor to fulfill online orders, including providing substitutions where products are out of stock.
• Using a handset to plan your route around the store, manage the items you need to select, and track time to complete each task.
• Working behind the scenes to deal with customer queries, process orders, and assist with loading vans for our Home Delivery drivers.
• Building great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to provide recommendations to customers.
• Maintaining a clean, clutter‑free store by keeping the store tidy and paying great attention to detail.
• Using new digital tools and technology to perform your job efficiently.
• Moving shopping containers up to 15kg and supporting the team with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
• Working flexibly and proactively, owning tasks and solving problems independently or as part of a team.

• Night shift premium – £2.45 per hour worked between midnight and 5am (where applicable).
