Overview

As one of our Online Assistants you’ll support a joyful shopping experience for our online customers, ensuring they receive every item they shop for.
Eligibility- You must be above the school‑leaver age in your country
- Shifts that run earlier than 6 am or later than 11 pm require you to be at least 18 years of age
- You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK
- Picking and selecting the best quality products on the shop floor that online customers have ordered, ready for delivery or providing substitutions where items are out of stock
- Using a handset that plans your route around the store, indicating what you need to select and how long you have to complete each shop
- Working behind the scenes to deal with customer queries, process orders and help load the vans for Home Delivery Drivers
- Maintaining a proactive, customer‑focused attitude and offering help wherever needed
- Building deep knowledge of our products, services and promotions to provide recommendations
- Working flexibly across the store as required
- Comfortable with early morning starts (most shifts start at 4 am) and thriving in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment
- Friendly and welcoming with genuine enthusiasm for helping customers
- Using initiative to solve problems and taking responsibility for tasks
- Adaptable and flexible, working productively at a high standard across the store
- Willing to learn new digital tools and technology and handling shopping containers up to 15 kg
- Detail‑oriented, keeping the store clean and clutter‑free to create the best shopping experience for customers
- Night shift premium: an additional £2.45 per hour worked between midnight and 5 am (where applicable)
- Discount card: 10% off at Sainsbury’s, Argos, Tu, and Habitat after four weeks, increasing to 15% on Fridays and Saturdays
