About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Remote Retail Merchandising Assistant to support their merchandising team from any location in South Africa . This role is integral to ensuring our product presentations online and across various platforms are appealing and effective in driving sales. You will assist in creating visual merchandising plans, preparing product assets, and analyzing performance data to inform merchandising decisions.

- Assist in the development and execution of visual merchandising strategies for online channels.
- Prepare product images, descriptions, and supporting content for website listings and promotional materials.
- Help organize and maintain digital asset libraries for merchandising purposes.
- Conduct online competitor analysis to identify best practices and emerging trends.
- Support the merchandising team in analyzing sales data and campaign performance to provide insights.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of merchandising plans.
- Experience in retail, merchandising, visual display, or a related creative field is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of visual aesthetics and design principles.
- Proficiency with digital tools and software for image editing or content management is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
