About the Role
Our client is seeking a creative and data-driven Remote Retail Merchandising Specialist to join their national merchandising team. This fully remote position will focus on developing and implementing effective visual merchandising strategies that enhance product presentation, drive sales, and align with brand aesthetics across all retail channels. You will work closely with the marketing and sales departments to translate brand goals into compelling in-store and online visual displays.
This role is perfect for a seasoned merchandiser who excels in a remote setup and possesses a strong understanding of retail consumer behavior and visual trends.
- Develop and execute visual merchandising plans for new product launches and seasonal campaigns.
- Create compelling product displays and store layouts that optimize product visibility and drive customer engagement.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to refine merchandising strategies and improve product placement.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure visual merchandising aligns with overall brand messaging and promotions.
- Develop visual merchandising guidelines and train store teams on their implementation.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to inform merchandising decisions.
- Proven experience as a Retail Merchandising Specialist or Visual Merchandiser.
- Strong understanding of retail consumer psychology and visual presentation principles.
- Excellent creative and aesthetic sense, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in merchandising software and graphic design tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and performance metrics.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
