Senior Retail Buyer

Our client is looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Retail Buyer to join their team, contributing to the product assortment strategy for their operations in Randburg . You will be responsible for identifying market trends, sourcing new products, negotiating with suppliers, and managing the buying cycle to maximize profitability and customer appeal. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of the retail market, and excellent negotiation abilities.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the product offerings that define the brand and meet the demands of the Randburg customer base, with a hybrid working model allowing for both in-office collaboration and remote work.

• Identify emerging retail trends and opportunities to inform product sourcing and assortment planning.
• Source new suppliers and products, negotiating terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.

• Extensive experience as a Retail Buyer or in a senior buying role.
• Proven track record in product sourcing, negotiation, and assortment planning.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen with experience in budget management.
• In-depth knowledge of the retail industry and consumer markets relevant to Randburg .
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
