Overview
Silex is seeking an Account Executive to support strategic sales efforts at key accounts while driving net-new opportunities across the Tennessee Market and greater Southeast Region. This role is ideal for a motivated seller with a strong foundation in IT infrastructure, managed services, cloud, cyber security, AI and predictive analytics who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
You will lead revenue growth by building executive-level relationships, presenting compelling solutions, and partnering closely with technology vendors and internal teams. Success in this role looks like consistent quota attainment, disciplined pipeline management, and demonstrable expansion of Silex’s customer base and partner ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities- Support and expand existing sales within key accounts to drive revenue growth.
- Prospect and develop new customer opportunities throughout the Southeast Region.
- Present solutions and value propositions to technical and business audiences.
- Assist with customer support escalations to ensure a best-in-class experience.
- Attend product training and maintain relevant sales certifications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and technology partners.
- Plan and execute field events, user groups, and conference activities.
- Drive social media presence and thought leadership in target markets.
- Generate leads via cold calling, email marketing, appointment setting, and partner motions.
- Create quotations, reports, and sales collateral to advance opportunities.
- Forecast accurately and manage a disciplined pipeline from lead to close.
- Contribute creative ideas and initiatives that accelerate sales success and brand presence.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, such as 5+ years in IT manufacturer or VAR/channel sales.
- Proven success selling IT solutions across data storage, security, networking, consulting, virtualization, and software/hardware
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain executive-level relationships.
- Established track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Experience crafting technology solutions to address business challenges.
- Strong aptitude and desire to continually learn new technologies and concepts.
- Proficiency in sales forecasting and pipeline management.
- Self-disciplined, motivated, and comfortable operating with minimal supervision.
- Employed as a Sales Account Executive, you will perform duties designated by the Company, including managing key customer relationships, pursuing business development opportunities, and developing multi-level relationships within customer organizations.
- Responsibilities include industry partnership development, product quotation, appointment setting, customer support oversight, report creation, lead generation, cold calling, email marketing, conference booth marketing, pipeline generation, and partner relations.

Remote with travel to customer sites, partner events, industry conferences, and corporate events in Nashville TN. Primary focus on the Tennessee Market and secondarily the Southeast Region.
