Who We Want

We’re looking for a Carrier Sales Market Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to build strong carrier relationships. If you’re motivated, resourceful, and eager to take ownership of your market, this is your chance to grow with a company at the center of the food supply chain.

What You’ll Do

As a Carrier Sales Market Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing carrier capacity, analyzing market conditions, and ensuring shipments are covered quickly and profitably. You’ll collaborate across teams, solve problems in real time, and be the key link between our carrier partners and our shippers’ needs.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with carriers to ensure reliable, repeat service
  • Source new carrier capacity and negotiate rates for regional lanes
  • Post and sell available freight in alignment with customer needs
  • Analyze market trends to stay ahead of pricing fluctuations
  • Monitor carrier spend to drive profitability and margin goals
  • Ensure carrier compliance with company and federal regulations
  • Partner with Carrier Development, Account Managers, and Operations to resolve issues
  • Manage a high volume of calls and emails daily
  • Provide weekend coverage on a rotating schedule

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of freight brokerage experience (reefer sales preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of national freight pricing and market trends
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software
  • Self-motivated with a positive, professional attitude

Success in This Role

  • Increased carrier engagement (repeat carriers moving 3+ loads/month)
  • Loads covered on time with zero rolled shipments
  • Margins consistently meeting or exceeding enterprise goals
  • Maintaining low load loss percentages
