Insurance Account Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member

Full Time in Hybrid - US

State Farm Insurance Agent located in Severn MD is seeking an outgoing, career-oriented professional to join their team. As a State Farm team member for Ivan Henderson Ins Agcy Inc., you will build and develop customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm products including auto, home and life insurance.

• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
• Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.

• Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
• Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
• Self-motivated
• Ability to make presentations to potential customers
• Provide timely and thorough activity reports to agent
• Ability to conduct interviews in the office and in customer's home or business
• Bilingual - Spanish preferred
• Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain)
• Life and Health license (must be able to obtain)
• Bachelor's degree preferred
