Nanoscience Instruments is seeking a high-performing, field-based Sales Representative to drive growth across the Pacific region for our advanced portfolio of electron microscopy, EDS, and ion milling solutions. With over two decades of experience, we deliver cutting-edge tools—including desktop SEMs, ion mills, SEM/TEM accessories, and more to leading academic, government, and industrial research institutions.

ScheduleM-F | 8-hour shift
Work setting:Remote | 30% Travel
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow revenue in California, Oregon, and Washington
. - Identify and engage with scientists, engineers, and decision-makers in research institutions and industry.
- Manage the full sales cycle—prospecting, qualifying, presenting, closing, and post-sale support—with a strong focus on on-site customer interactions
. - Provide technical consultation to match customer needs with solutions in electron microscopy, EDS, and ion milling
. - Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to expand market share.
- Represent Nanoscience Instruments at trade shows, workshops, and conferences.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and contribute to reliable forecasting and reporting.
- Proven success in field sales of capital equipment (> $100K ASP), preferably in scientific instrumentation.
- Hands-on experience or technical familiarity with electron microscopy (SEM, TEM),
EDS
, and ion milling is strongly preferred. - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physical Sciences, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to drive consultative sales.
- Willingness to travel 25%-30%+ within the region and to national events.
Candidates must be based in the Pacific Region of the U.S.to be considered.
