Overview

2024 was a record sales year for Garratt‑Callahan, a profitable private nationwide water‑treatment chemical company. We are expanding nationwide in 2025 and are looking for aggressive, smart, educated, and promo table Technical Sales Territory Managers for the Kansas City area. The role offers unlimited commission potential, no cap flat‑rate commission, and the ability to work remotely from anywhere in the greater Kansas City area.

Responsibilities
  • Sell boiler and cooling‑tower water‑treatment chemicals to a variety of industrial customers, including healthcare, food & beverage, manufacturing, commercial & institutional, data centers, and wastewater.
  • Maintain an existing customer base and generate new business through cold calling.
  • Run chemical tests to analyze water and document results.
  • Interact with, repair, and troubleshoot mechanical equipment such as pumps, tubing, piping, and valves.
  • Program electronic equipment such as cooling‑tower chemical controllers.
  • Collaborate with veteran salespeople and provide technical support when needed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a four‑year technical degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Biology, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Advanced degrees preferred.
  • Military training such as Navy Nuclear Propulsion or Army CBRN School is also valued.
  • A minimum of 3 years technical sales experience related to water‑treatment chemicals.
  • Experience selling to a variety of industrial customers preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Missouri and Kansas industrial marketplace is preferred.

  • Compensation based on experience and success, ranging from $80,000 to $120,000+ in the first year.
  • Unlimited, no‑cap flat‑rate commission; top Territory Sales Managers make six‑figure commissions.
