Position: Sales Analyst

Primary

Location:

Toronto, ON preferred, or home based in Canada

Schedule: Hybrid if based in Toronto, home based otherwise

Reports To: Water Director

Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 CAD + bonus + benefits.

Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. More specific salary range for your preferred location can be discussed during the hiring process.

About This Role and You

The scope of the Sales Analyst position will be to provide support to the water commercial team with a focus on the organic growth initiatives.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of related work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5-10 years of experience as a sales and marketing analyst, preferably in business development.
  • MBA would be considered a strong asset.
  • Experience with platform such as CRM Dynamics or Salesforce.
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SAP.

  • Desire to take initiative
  • Strong analytical mindset.
  • Good communication skills as the person will communicate with the Account Managers, Sales Directors and Business Directors on a regular basis.
  • Highly organized and able to deal with large amounts of data from different sources. Must be able to work during concentrated periods such as campaign drives.
  • Ability to collaborate across various departments and functions, with an ability to drive projects to achieve results.
  • Demonstrated success working autonomously. Questions or concerns are generally resolved via phone or email.
  • Ability to display quantitative information in tables, charts, presentations, and other forms of visual enhancements to the data.
  • Solution oriented mindset driven by natural curiosity.
Responsibilities

Pipeline management

  • Support the sales team with CRM Dynamics Pipeline.
  • Create and maintain KPIs to track business growth progress.
  • Work with outside resources on the improvement of the CRM Dynamics platform.
  • Participate in weekly reviews with the business manager, application specialist and the account manager.
  • Populate the pipeline with leads from Citylitics & Gov Spend and work with the business and sales to filter the data.

Water Commercial team

  • Create KPI and produce report/dashboard that would allow easy tracking of the account manager performance.
  • Generate and analyze sales reports upon request.
  • Make research on specific market area of potential growth.
  • Support Product Data Sheet (PDS), Safety Data Sheet (SDS) with EH&S team.
  • Support NSF Certification.
  • Support the NCR process.
