Regional Sales Manager – Cutting Tool Market (Mid-Atlantic)

Mikron Tool is an international leader in the development and production of carbide cutting tools. We are a growing Swiss company, enthusiastic about innovation and technology. We specialize in the production of small and medium-sized high-performance tools for machining the most difficult materials such as stainless steel, heat-resistant alloys, and titanium.

Our state-of-the-art Technology Center enables us to develop holistic machining processes, often in collaboration with customers. We pride ourselves on delivering efficient, sustainable, and sometimes unconventional solutions that add real value.

To strengthen our sales team for our US market, we are seeking a Technical Sales Manager for the states of Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Eastern New York, Eastern Maryland, and Delaware.

• Take care and develop our sales market in Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Eastern New York, Eastern Maryland, and Delaware
• Promote and sell Standard and Special Tools for our company in assigned states
• Visit regularly existing and new customers and sales partner
• Train Sales partners in place on Mikron Tool products, organization of training seminars
• Provide technical advice to all customers and sales partners
• Find new customers in the assigned areas and product fields
• Quote Special and Standard Tools
• Interface with Mikron Tool for technical questions and problem solving
• Use CRM system for trip planning and reporting

Required Education, Experience, Knowledge, & Skills

• Experience in cutting tool technology with expert knowledge in metallurgy, metal alloys and carbide and on machining processes (drilling, milling, reaming, deburring)
• Able to read technical drawings and to sketch ideas and concepts
• Minimum of 3+ years in similar industrial sales roles
• Mechanical education, emphasis on mechanical engineering
• Systematic and analytical thinking
• Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Power Point
• Excellent communication & sales skills to present company, products and technology
• Willingness to travel – 80% Travel Expectation
• Must be living in or willing to relocate to the Eastern portion of Pennsylvania (East of I-81) or in New Jersey

Additional Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must have a valid state driver license
• Must be able to travel domestically and internationally at times with short notice

Pay Range

• $90,000 - $110,000 per year
