Job PurposeWe are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to drive the sales of Maintenance Master Service Agreements (MSAs) to SLED customers. This role requires a strong understanding of security camera and access control systems and the ability to articulate the value of ongoing maintenance services to public sector clients.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, prospect, and engage SLED customers to promote and sell maintenance MSAs for security cameras and access control systems.
- Conduct targeted outreach activities, including cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and attending industry conferences, to generate new leads.
- Research and identify key decision-makers within State, Local, and Education organizations to build a qualified sales pipeline.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers within government, municipal, and educational institutions.
- Present and demonstrate the benefits and value of maintenance MSAs to ensure customer buy-in and contract renewals.
- Collaborate with the technical and service teams to tailor maintenance solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
- Track sales activities and provide regular reports on pipeline status, forecasts, and market feedback.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory requirements impacting the SLED market.
- Proven sales experience, preferably in the security systems or technology services industry.
- Demonstrated success in prospecting activities such as cold calling, lead generation, and networking.
- Familiarity with security cameras, access control systems, and their maintenance needs.
- Experience selling to State, Local, and Education (SLED) customers is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer-centric approach.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
