Clinical Solutions Architect - Digital Pathology

Overview

Solutions Architect – Digital Pathology role at Leica Biosystems. This position is part of the Pathology Imaging Sales team, field-based, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager. The role involves achieving product sales goals, delivering product demonstrations, and communicating complex technical information to various customer stakeholders.

• Serve as technical expert for digital pathology hardware (scanners) and related software products.
• Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of sales and support assistance.
• Travel overnight as necessary (estimated at 50%) for pre- and post-sales activities, such as customer appointments, trade shows and customer training.
• Engage with existing customer accounts to expand the current base, meet active opportunities, and prospect for new opportunities in the assigned geography.
• Coordinate sales activities within national, multi-site laboratory accounts by interfacing with other departments to ensure proper handling of customer requirements and complete Solution Design documentation with key stakeholders to facilitate fast implementation of client orders.

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in IT or a scientific field (or equivalent work experience). Diagnostics, Life Science and/or Pathology preferred.
• Prior capital sales experience preferred.

• Ability to travel 50–75% within territory.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 15 lbs and other physical requirements.
• Specific vision abilities required: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Travel by car and flying with potential long wait times.

The annual salary range for this role is $118,000 - $130,000. This role is eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
