Position: Enterprise Account Executive (Remote)

Overview

Enterprise Account Executive (Remote) role ly is building the industry’s first observability data warehouse, Imply Lumi, to help organizations store more data, support more use cases and reduce costs. Lumi enables fast queries, cost savings and seamless integration with leading observability technologies, without vendor lock-in.

As part of the Sales Team, you will help bring Imply Lumi to life by partnering with customers to understand their challenges, design tailored solutions, and demonstrate how Lumi can unlock speed, scale and value from their data.

Role

The Enterprise Account Executive is a territorial sales position selling the Lumi solution to companies across the United States. The ideal candidate is motivated, self-starting, detail-oriented, process-driven (MEDDICC), and able to employ a strategic approach to sales engagements. You will demonstrate a track record of achieving new customer objectives and revenue targets, and you will sell to CxO, VP and Director level contacts within IT in a technology startup environment.

Solutions will be tailored to customer needs and integrated with Imply solutions in a way that provides value and differentiates from the competition.

Responsibilities
  • Create a territory plan and execute to generate revenue and acquire new customers
  • Forge strategic executive-level relationships to drive cross-organizational opportunities
  • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations in partnership with Customer Architects
  • Consult with prospects to determine the best solutions, prepare proposals, and close contracts
  • Understand client infrastructure, data and observability requirements and how the Imply solution meets them
  • Articulate compelling reasons for action and how Imply meets those requirements
  • Navigate enterprise budgeting and purchasing processes and progress opportunities from identification to close
  • Meet or exceed activity and revenue targets
  • Log sales activity in Salesforce and other tools as needed
  • Attend sales meetings and stay up-to-date on market developments
  • Maintain current knowledge of Imply product information, pricing, and contract terms
  • Travel as required to meet prospects and customers (approximately 25% when permissible)
Requirements
  • 4+ years of direct quota-carrying sales experience selling enterprise solutions (observability, SIEM, or analytics platforms)
  • Strong understanding of networking and the observability ecosystem
  • Track record of overachieving quota, acquiring new logos, and identifying new opportunities
  • Experience leading sales cycles with emerging technologies, including product evaluations and demonstrations
  • Experience building business relationships with executive-level stakeholders; a hunter mentality with a focus on closing
  • Experience delivering online sales presentations and product demonstrations
  • Strong business outcome thinking with technical aptitude and collaboration skills

Compensation: $300,000 - $350,000, with merit-based adjustments; role may participate in Imply’s equity plan per applicable policies.
