Arviem, with headquarters in Switzerland, is a pioneer in IoT‑based multi‑modal cargo monitoring and tracking services. With teams located in EMEA, APAC and North and South America, Arviem helps its global major clients protect their cargo from theft and quality damages. To expand our business in North America we are seeking a seasoned Sales and Account Relationship Executive, experienced at consultative selling of solutions, services and products with long sales cycles to Supply Chain and Security VPs and Directors from Cargo Owner and Logistical Service Providers.

The suitable candidate is skilled at building strong relationships with prospective clients and helping them derive a good ROI from solutions, services and products. Arviem has a more than 90% retention rate of existing clients.

Responsibilities
  • Grow Arviem’s client base and revenues in North America (US, Canada, Mexico), leveraging personal and professional networks and platforms.
  • Focus on account‑based sales strategies and activities with expected sales cycle of 3-9 months.
  • Win 5-10 new clients per year and manage relationships with existing clients with a total annual revenue target of 1 – 2M.
  • Develop sales proposals and contracts, negotiate pricing, terms and conditions.
  • Demonstrate the value of Arviem’s solutions, services and products through benefits in the clients’ P&L.
  • Intensive teaming with other Sales & Account Relationship Executives on joint sales initiatives.
  • Intensive collaborating with Operations and Customer Service colleagues on existing clients.
  • Work with tools like Linked In Sales Navigator and Hub Spot CRM.
  • Reports to the Arviem USA CEO.
Mandatory requirements
  • High integrity, discipline and self‑motivated personality.
  • Highly skilled team player as sales at Arviem is executed via intensive teaming with colleagues.
  • Flexibility and willingness to change course.
  • Strong self‑driven and hands‑on mentality as no other sales staff is reporting to the Executive.
  • Takes initiative and can work in a small, international scale‑up company.
  • Extensive experience with supply chain technology, visibility, cargo and container security and cargo condition monitoring solutions, services and products.
  • Has a successful track record in supply chain technology solution sales and consultative selling as Arviem is explicitly not looking for candidates with only product sales experience.
  • More than 25 years of work experience in global logistics or supply chain.
  • Being employed by less than 3 companies over the past 15 years as Arviem is clearly looking for candidates for a long‑term employment.
  • Experienced with a balanced sales role: 50% dedicated to hunting for leads, developing proposals and closing deals. The other 50% is dedicated to client account management.
  • Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills to build close relationships with clients.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Power Point, Excel, Word and comfortable with working from home.
  • Occasional travelling to clients and client events is part of the role.
Preferences
  • Have a global and international perspective and collaborative mindset.
  • Although the focus of this role is North America, the candidate should be comfortable developing relationships with clients in different countries.
  • English native, proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese.
