Business Development Specialist - PST

Position Summary

As a Business Development Specialist (BDS), you will engage healthcare professionals (HCPs) through telephone conversations to promote assigned client products, maximize selling potential, and meet program and client objectives. You will develop and maintain relationships with HCPs, educate them on product features, benefits, safety, approved indications, and loyalty program platform to ensure appropriate use. You will collaborate with client field-based teams and management and may perform on‑site practice visits for in‑services.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities
  • Effectively and persuasively communicate with customers, using selling, listening and negotiation skills, proper terminology and approved messaging, and promotional aids.
  • Manage daily call activity to influence customers and increase platform awareness.
  • Profile and manage a targeted list of accounts, providing value‑added benefits to grow product and platform awareness.
  • Create and implement business plans to achieve business goals.
  • Maintain call productivity and metrics required by the program.
  • Achieve quarterly client KPI’s.
  • Promote client product(s) via telephone (outbound and/or inbound) by engaging assigned targets in in‑depth discussions.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of client product(s), program and platforms.
  • Verify and complete required data entry in Amplity/Client CRM systems.
  • Listen and respond appropriately to customer needs and questions within program timelines.
  • Partner with client field sales account managers and client sales managers to plan account coverage.
  • Create and maintain a positive impression with client and clients’ customers.
  • Prepare reports for management as needed.
  • Fully comply with all laws, regulations and Amplity policies, code of conduct and privacy guidelines.
  • Participate in teleconferences, live training sessions, and represent client at national and/or local conventions when required.
  • Complete other projects assigned.
Key Working Relationships
  • Report to Amplity Performance Manager or Program Director.
  • Work closely with other team members and home office support.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with customers, client contacts, and all client business units.
Requirements – Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant business or sales experience.
  • Flexibility to cover multiple time zones.
  • Ability to travel to office sites if needed.
  • Willingness to cover all time zones.
  • Successfully complete all required Amplity and client training.
  • Excellent technical skills with Microsoft Office and related programs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in B2B or Inside Sales.
  • Aesthetics industry experience.

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Clear, articulate and grammatically sound speech with professional demeanor.
  • Strong focus on superior customer support and service.
  • Ability to learn and communicate complex information over the telephone.

  • Flexibility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Completion of Amplity and client training in full compliance.
  • Participation in teleconferences, live meetings, and conventions as requested.
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record; ability to travel within assigned region.
