Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Achieve individual territory sales goals as approved by Esperion Commercial Leadership
- Review performance metrics with Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to ensure territory is achieving maximum sales results
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with key customers in the assigned geography
- Effectively promote and educate Health Care Providers (HCPs) on the use of Esperion products through one-on-one meetings, virtual engagements, company-approved promotional speaker programs, and other company-approved programs
- Analyze local market trends, develop, execute and monitor performance and results to maximize the appropriate use of Esperion products
- Demonstrate successful use of sales and marketing tools and resources to achieve business objectives
- Demonstrate and maintain knowledge of product payor coverage to deliver against market access objectives for the assigned territory
- Periodically attend local, regional and national congresses to promote Esperion brands to HCP attendees
- Complete administrative tasks such as sample inventory, call submissions and reporting, expense management, vehicle mileage reporting, and related duties
- Ensure compliance with all corporate policies and procedures, complete required compliance training, and demonstrate behaviors aligned with company values
- Follow expense report guidelines and adhere to the allocated territory budget
- Establish and maintain effective communications among RSMs and Territory Managers; organize and monitor performance to achieve the territory’s potential
- Monitor and align Sales and Marketing efforts and ensure high standards for executing business initiatives
- Work with sales leadership and Market Access to maximize pull-through from commercial and government payers
- Maintain vendor credentialing requirements for entities such as Vendor Mate and Rep Trax to access customer locations
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree required. Preferred degree in sciences (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Kinesiology, Pre-med, other STEM) and 1-3 years of pharmaceutical or relevant sales experience; or equivalent education and experience
- Military background or similar experience demonstrating drive and discipline also considered
- Experience calling on or working with Health Care Professionals preferred but not required
- Willing and able to travel up to 30% including overnight stays for territory business and occasional Regional and National Sales Meetings
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record that meets Esperion employment standards
- Documented track record of consistent high performance in sales, academics, athletics, or other endeavours
- Desire to work in a start-up environment or entrepreneurial sales model with sole responsibility of product promotion within a large geographic territory
- Ability to embrace a performance-driven and growth culture

- Ability to influence and work with varied audiences, including customers, colleagues, scientific and technical leaders
