Direct Markets Account Executive – Seattle

Zurich Direct Markets seeks an experienced, driven sales leader for our Seattle territory to promote Property and Casualty insurance and Finance & Insurance (F&I) products to automotive dealers.

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 1+ years of sales experience
• OR completion of a Zurich‑approved Apprenticeship program with an Associate Degree (no prior sales experience required)
• Ability to obtain insurance sales licenses where required

• 4+ years of business‑to‑business outside sales experience
• Strong understanding of direct sales principles, closing techniques, and industry‑specific terminology
• Familiarity with insurance industry regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Current insurance sales licenses (where required) or the ability to be licensed
• Experience with financial statement analysis

• Prospecting – Identify and develop new prospects, focusing on Property and Casualty insurance for large automotive dealers and supporting F&I product marketing. Attend automotive industry events to promote Zurich’s sales and marketing initiatives.
• Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers; communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders via in‑person and virtual channels.
• Closing – Manage and grow the assigned territory to achieve profitability and exceed sales targets.
• Direct Sales – Conduct sales presentations in person or via Microsoft Teams.
• Consulting – Collaborate with field team members to ensure seamless implementation of programs and products, strengthening customer relationships.
• Market Share Growth – Work remotely in an entrepreneurial environment.

Compensation includes a base salary with uncapped incentives and an annualized variable range of $180,000 to $240,000. Benefits comprise Medical, Dental, 401(k), PTO, and a company car (subject to a driving‑record check).
