The Jack Henry Banking Senior Account Executive position is a highly strategic and performance-driven position. Unlike a traditional sales role, this position carries elevated responsibilities and expectations. Personal leadership is paramount. How you conduct yourself daily will directly impact sales productivity and long-term success.

. This role requires sustainable leadership qualities as you navigate complex sales campaigns involving multiple stakeholders. The Senior Account Executive is focused on overseeing our banking core processing customers and is directly responsible for the ongoing business relationship with existing Jack Henry Banking clients which includes:
Providing account oversight, serving as a primary set of eyes on the assigned customer base, striving to understand the customers’ strategic initiatives, as well as working to align the appropriate Jack Henry resources consistent with identified initiatives.
This is a remote position that will be responsible for accounts located across Northeastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Washington DC. Candidates must reside within this geographic area.
All positions, regardless of location, may require an onsite interview or in-person onboarding requirement to verify your identity.
What you’ll be responsible for:- 50% - On-site sales calls to existing JHA clients promoting assigned JHA Products and Services as well as new business development prospecting to non-JHA Core Institutions below $2.75 Billion in assets.
- 30% - Territory and account plan development to ensure annual sales plan objectives are achieved.
- 20% - Administrative and Account responsibilities including forecasting, opportunity management, product education as well as client liaison during any problem escalation.
- May perform other job duties as assigned.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience selling in a financial services environment.
- A thorough understanding of the selling processes acquired through previous work experience (i.e. something to relate to and serve as a basis for tracking success in this role).
- Detail oriented, solid organizational and analytical skills as well as the ability to formulate strategies to solve complex problems.
- Up to 50% travel required for this role.
- Solid communication skills; both verbal and written are critical to success in this role.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Direct working experience in the financial services industry.
- A reasonable understanding of the Gartner or Challenger Selling models that includes “getting results through others” by being proactive, consistently showing up, identifying and qualifying sales opportunities, facilitating introductions, and collaborating with Product Sales Executives to expand mutually beneficial business relationships.
- The ability to manage both vertical and lateral working relationships to foster sales focused teams.
