- Identify sales opportunities and promote, pursue, and sell the employer’s full line of business
- Assist in corporate and territorial promotional efforts as directed by the Manager of Sales and Marketing
- Collaborate effectively with team members to grow business within the territory
- Maintain communication with prospective clients to ensure closure of business deals
- Provide continuous support to prospective clients in assigned territories and key accounts
- Self-motivated individual with a sense of urgency in sales and service-related activities
- Exceptional communication, presentation, follow-up, negotiation, and closing skills
- Proven success throughout all aspects of the sales cycle
- Experience working with local government technologies and concepts
- Ability to travel at least 30% of the time or as circumstances permit
- Proven experience working within local government
- Integrity evident in all interactions and negotiations
- Confident yet respectful in collaborating across all organizational levels
- Readiness to accept coaching and adapt based on feedback
- Familiarity with Esri Regional Offices and relationships with their Account Managers
