What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Manage and grow business through consistent communication with assigned retail sellers and internal teams
  • Coach and train top retail sellers on products, programs, and technologies at the farm‑gate level
  • Execute strategic plans using tools such as the Account Plan and Farmer by Farmer Plan
  • Communicate total acre value propositions and coordinate with local manufacturer representatives
  • Record account details in CRM software (Salesforce) and manage discretionary trial seed
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or a business‑related field plus 2 years of industry or direct sales experience, or 7 years of successful relevant experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft products and CRM software (Salesforce)
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage productivity in a fast‑paced environment
  • Valid state driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 50%
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience in the agriculture industry with technical product knowledge
  • Proven track record of successful project management and leading change
  • Ability to coach and mentor others effectively
  • Familiarity with virtual collaboration tools such as Teams and Zoom
