Market Manager – Protective Division
Join Glen Raven as a Market Manager in the Protective Division. This role drives sales growth, manages key account relationships, and expands Glen Guard’s market penetration.
Travel is required and the position can be based out of your home office.
Responsibilities- Represent the company’s interests and knowledge by providing subject‑matter expertise to internal teams, customers, and the industry.
- Achieve sales and margin targets within the assigned territory through direct sales efforts and distribution/channel management.
- Identify, develop, and manage relationships with key accounts.
- Execute sales strategies aligned with the broader Glen Guard business plan, including new product introductions and market penetration/expansion.
- Maintain a deep understanding of competitive products, market trends, and customer needs to inform sales/ product development strategies.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal teams (product, marketing, operations, etc.) to ensure customer needs are met.
- Utilize CRM tools to manage sales activities, business opportunities, customer contact, and prospects.
- Represent Glen Guard at industry events to promote brand awareness and cultivate leads.
- Prepare and provide regular sales and market reports to the Sales Director.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and related training.
- Five years of experience in a competitive sales environment.
- Highly organized and structured.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex observations and concepts to customers.
- Ability to make effective presentations in front of groups at all levels.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Appropriate time‑management skills and resource allocation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry policies, procedures, and practices.
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
