Glen Guard is recruiting for a Protective Market Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, managing key account relationships and expending the market penetration of the Glen Guard brand. Role responsibilities include but are not limited to executing strategic sales initiatives, fostering channel partnerships and providing market intelligence to help shape Glen Guard’s commercial strategies and initiatives.

*** This role requires travel and can be based out of your home office***

Responsibilities:

  • Represents company’s interest and knowledge by providing subject matter expertise to our internal team, our customers, and our industry.
  • Achieve sales and margin targets within assigned territory/customer list through direct sales efforts and distribution/channel management
  • Identify, develop and manage relationships with key accounts
  • Execute sales strategies aligned with broader Glen Guard business plan initiatives including new product introductions and market penetration/expansion
  • Maintain a deep understanding of competitive products, market trends and customer needs to inform sales/product development strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (product, marketing, operations etc.) to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage sales activities, business opportunities, customer contact and prospects.
  • Represent Glen Guard at industry events to promote brand awareness and cultivate leads.
  • Prepare and provide regular sales and market reports to the Sales Director.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and related training.
  • Five years of experience in a competitive sales environment.
  • Highly organized and structed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to convey potentially complex observations and concepts to customers.
  • Ability to make effective presentations in front of groups at all levels.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Appropriate time management skills and resource allocation.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of industry policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Proficient in MS Office software especially Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint & Word.
