Compensation: $175K+ - $135K-$150K base + 30% bonus
Regional Sales Manager – Northeast U.S.A well-established manufacturer in the lighting and residential technology sector is seeking an exceptional Regional Sales Manager to drive growth and strengthen customer relationships across the Northeast U.S. This role is ideal for a dynamic, results-oriented sales professional with deep experience in the luxury residential custom integrator channel or a strong background selling technical finished goods within adjacent industries such as lighting, building products, electrical, or related technologies.
The successful candidate will bring strategic sales leadership, consultative selling skills, and the ability to cultivate strong relationships with dealers, rep firms, and specifiers. This is a highly visible role for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment and is committed to exceeding targets while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Drive revenue growth in alignment with regional sales targets.
- Build and manage relationships with residential technology companies and integrators focused on luxury residential projects.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for existing and prospective customers in the region.
- Partner with Manufacturer’s Representative Firms and relevant buying groups to expand market penetration.
- Identify regional business opportunities and proactively troubleshoot challenges.
- Provide consistent reporting on sales activities and performance (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually).
- Develop and maintain a strong network to identify and qualify new business opportunities.
- Understand customer needs and present tailored product solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for integrators, specifiers, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, and product teams.
- Support other sales leaders by sharing best practices and contributing to a unified go-to-market strategy.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication and timely resolution of issues.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support overall growth and innovation.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 5 years of technical sales experience, ideally within lighting, residential technology, electrical, building products, or similar technical industries.
- Experience working with custom integrators, rep firms, and channel-based sales models preferred.
- Knowledge of lighting products (fixtures, lamps, controls) is a plus but not required.
- Strong consultative selling skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
- Ability to travel up to 60% across the Northeast U.S.
