Our client is a leader in fire protection and life safety services. They are rapidly expanding, growing both organically and through acquisitions. They have laid a strong foundation and are now ready to scale and expand their team. They are looking for a Security Sales Engineer to join their Dayton, OH based sales team.

• The Sales Engineer will prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to existing and prospective customers and contractors
• The Sales Engineer will serve as the technical sales lead, bridging between customer requirements, design teams, and operations, ensuring solution integrity, profitability, and customer satisfaction
• The Sales Engineer will design, propose, and sell integrated security and life‑safety systems (access control, video surveillance, intrusion, and integration with fire alarm systems) to commercial, industrial, and institutional customers.

• 4+ years’ experience in low‑voltage security systems (access control, video surveillance, intrusion)
• Proven track record in technical sales, with a deep understanding of security systems, IP Networking, PoE, Switches, VLANS and cabling
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Ability to perform site surveys and read construction drawings

This is a remote position where ideal candidates must be based in Dayton, OH. Travel 60% or more to conduct onsite inspections and meet potential buyers within the assigned territory.

Base Salary: $70,000 to $100,000

Total Compensation: $105,000 to $150,000
