As we expand in North America, we are looking for a results‑driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to fuel our pipeline and drive growth in the region.
The RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential customers, generating high‑quality leads, and setting up meetings for our sales team. You’ll play a key role in expanding our footprint in the US market by connecting with key decision‑makers in the eCommerce industry.
- Primary Goal: Your main objective is to generate high‑quality Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) that align with Prompt Cloud’s ideal customer profile, driving new business opportunities.
- Outreach – Identify, research, and engage potential clients via email, cold calling, Linked In, and other channels.
- Lead Qualification – Assess potential customers' pain points, needs, and interest in our solutions.
- Sales Development – Schedule discovery calls and demos for Account Executives, ensuring a strong handover.
- Collaboration – Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to optimize lead generation efforts and refine outreach strategies.
- CRM Management – Maintain accurate records of outreach, engagement, and pipeline activity in Hub Spot.
- Experience in a Business Development or Sales role, preferably in a SaaS/startup environment.
- Experience working in the US market - understanding of buyer behavior and sales cycles in North America.
- Background in eCommerce or data solutions preferred – familiarity with eCommerce business model, platforms, analytics tools, or related technologies is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to craft compelling outreach messages. This would involve significant cold calling.
- Proactive, self‑motivated, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment with minimal management.
- Experience using sales engagement tools, AI tools exposure & enablement readiness.
