• Provide consultative sales support of product, application, and software to customers and key account managers.
• Identify selling opportunities across product lines and collaborate with account managers in team‑selling efforts within assigned accounts.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by partnering effectively with sales managers, PLT members, customer service technicians, engineers, accounting and manufacturing to meet customers’ needs.
• Maintain rigorous pipeline management: create opportunities, use Salesforce, forecast in visual management tools, and execute next actions to move deals toward closing.
• Work with customers and experts to generate field data, application notes or publications that highlight product benefits and differentiate Leica products.

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related scientific field.
• Experience in biological imaging applications – fluorescence, confocal microscopy, optics, or related experience.
• 2+ years in a research, quality control, or production environment applying microscopy and digital imaging techniques.
• Strong relationship‑building, interpersonal, and communication skills.

• Ability to travel 25‑50% overnight, primarily within Southern California.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 25 lb.

• Previous sales experience of microscopy products is preferred.
• Teaching or training experience – providing training on imaging equipment and techniques.

Leica Microsystems offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, 401(k), and remote work flexibility. The salary range for this role is $100,000 – $110,000
; this role is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
