What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Develop and execute a territory plan aligned with academic calendars and district priorities to achieve sales quotas
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts while partnering with Customer Success for product adoption
  • Deliver engaging presentations to district-level stakeholders, articulating the value of educational solutions
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the education sector
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and provide reliable forecasts to leadership
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of successful business development, sales, and account management experience
  • Experience selling or working with technology-based curriculum products, preferably in literacy or reading
  • Deep knowledge of the K–12 education landscape, including funding cycles and decision‑making hierarchies
  • Proven track record of sales goal attainment and managing a pipeline of opportunities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Existing contacts within the K–12 education sector
  • Demonstrated ability to propose tailored solutions and close complex deals
  • Proficient in CRM (Salesforce) and productivity tools, including MS Office and Google Suites
  • Experience delivering presentations to groups and decision‑makers
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders
