National Literacy Consultant

• Advise sales strategy by staying current on literacy standards, state adoption cycles, and district trends
• Partner with account executives to engage district leaders during the sales process
• Deliver tailored product demonstrations and presentations focused on ELA/literacy priorities
• Build internal capacity on ELA and literacy concepts for sales teams to enhance product positioning
• Represent the employer at conferences and partner events as a literacy expert

• Minimum of a Master's degree in Education, Literacy, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field; advanced degree strongly preferred
• At least 7 years of PK-12 experience, including 3+ years in leadership at a large district or education agency
• Strong understanding of the principles of Science of Reading and literacy
• Exceptional communication skills, including public speaking and presentation preparation
• Ability to adapt presentations to meet customer needs and work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams

• Knowledge of the employer's portfolio is strongly preferred, with versatility to demo all products
• Experience in translating technical product functionality into instructional impact language
• Demonstrated ability to listen to customer needs to improve product positioning
