Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets within the assigned territory
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities to expand market presence
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs and preferences
  • Manage territory activities, including lead generation and sales forecasting, using CRM systems
  • Stay informed about industry trends and customer needs to inform sales strategies
Qualifications
  • Minimum of two (2) years of proven successful sales experience in telephone sales, personal selling, and customer service
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
  • Understanding of sales techniques, negotiation skills, and closing strategies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and telephone skills
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency with MS Office software and CRM technology such as Sales Force
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with peers, superiors, and customers
  • Experience in the education or publishing industry
  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing expert guidance and solutions
