• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets within the assigned territory
• Cultivate relationships with prospective customers to drive sales growth and expand market presence
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to understand their needs and drive incremental revenue
• Manage territory activities including prospecting, lead generation, and sales forecasting
• Stay informed about industry trends and customer needs to inform sales strategies and product development

• Minimum of two (2) years of proven successful sales experience in telephone sales, personal selling, and customer service
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
• Strong understanding of sales techniques, negotiation skills, and closing strategies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and telephone skills
• Proficiency with MS Office software and CRM technology

• Experience in the education or publishing industry
• Familiarity with market dynamics and competitive landscape
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across various levels of the organization
• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with telecommuting software such as Zoom, Web Ex, or Microsoft Teams
