What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Develop and execute a territory plan to achieve quota across both new and existing accounts
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within current accounts and ensure product adoption
  • Deliver compelling presentations to district-level stakeholders about educational solutions
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the K-12 education sector
  • Maintain accurate records and manage pipeline health in Salesforce
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Minimum of a Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of successful business development, sales, and account management experience
  • Experience with technology-based curriculum products, preferably in literacy/reading
  • Deep knowledge of the K–12 education landscape, including funding cycles and decision-making hierarchies
  • Proven track record of sales goal attainment and closing complex deals
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Existing contacts in K-12 education within the geographical territory
  • Proficient in using Salesforce, MS Office, Google Suites, and video conferencing software
  • Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Experience in presenting to groups and decision-makers both in-person and virtually
