Direct Markets Account Executive - Seattle
We are seeking an experienced and driven sales leader to join Zurich Direct Markets as an Account Executive in our Seattle territory.

Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 1+ years of sales experience
- OR Completion of a Zurich-approved Apprenticeship program with an Associate Degree (no prior sales experience required)
- Ability to obtain insurance sales licenses where required
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4+ years of business-to-business outside sales experience
- Strong understanding of direct sales principles, closing techniques, and industry-specific terminology
- Familiarity with insurance industry regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Current insurance sales licenses (where required) or the ability to be licensed
- Experience with financial statement analysis
Background:
Zurich Direct Markets specializes in offering Property and Casualty insurance and F&I products to the automotive industry, supported by a dedicated field sales team that regularly engages directly with clients.
As an Account Executive
, your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and developing new business prospects, focusing on providing Property and Casualty insurance to large automotive dealers, while also supporting F&I product marketing within the assigned territory
- Attending Automotive industry events to promote Zurich’s sales and marketing initiatives
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing customers
- Effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders via various channels (in-person and virtual) to maintain solid relationships
- Managing and growing your assigned territory to achieve profitability and exceed sales targets
- Collaborating with field team members to ensure seamless implementation of programs and products, while strengthening customer relationships
- Working remotely in an entrepreneurial environment
The annualized variable compensation range, based on performance under the sales incentive plan for this role, is between $180,000 and $240,000
