Sales Specialist – Content Marketing – Fully Remote

Join Mediaplanet as a Sales Specialist – fully remote. This role combines research, sales, client management, and production oversight to lead content marketing campaigns from concept to launch.

Role Overview

The Sales Specialist is responsible for solution-based selling, driving new business and managing ongoing client relationships. You will oversee integrated content marketing campaigns from start to finish and customize campaigns based on client needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research industry trends and develop campaign themes and content concepts.
  • Identify and secure relevant influencers, experts, and strategic partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align content with campaign objectives.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting and identify potential clients.
  • Pitch campaigns and Mediaplanet products to Mid‑Market and Enterprise companies.
  • Secure new business by matching client goals with solutions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and build long‑term relationships through proactive communication.
  • Ensure a strong understanding of client needs, objectives, and expectations.
  • Oversee campaign execution in partnership with the production team, managing timelines, deadlines, and quality control.
  • Ensure on‑time campaign launches that meet client and campaign goals.
Required Qualifications
  • 2–4 years of professional experience (sales, project management, or customer success).
  • Proven experience managing client relationships and closing new business.
  • Strong phone‑based pitching and outbound prospecting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • (Preferred) B2B industry experience in healthcare and/or technology.
  • (Preferred) Experience in media, advertising, or content marketing.

Compensation
  • Base Salary: $65,000
  • Commission:
    Uncapped
  • On‑Target Earnings (OTE): $101,000
