Commercial Aftersales Manager
Hyster‑Yale Materials Handling, Inc., a global leader in industrial lift trucks, seeks an experienced Commercial Aftersales Manager to grow its dealer network from a field‑based remote position headquartered in Greenville, NC.
What You Will Do- Engage dealers through frequent travel (≈75%) to build strong partnerships and drive parts sales.
- Collaborate closely with dealer and customer teams, delivering tailored solutions to meet their unique needs.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies for all parts segments, aligning with national objectives and reviewing performance with dealer leadership.
- Support dealer growth by expanding service businesses, generating new parts‑consumption opportunities, and ensuring teams can capture growing market share.
- Partner with aftersales marketing to advance e‑commerce initiatives and identify opportunities to reach new customer segments.
- Provide dealers with essential sales tools, training, and coaching, promoting adoption of key sales campaigns.
- Track, analyze, and report sales data and market insights using CRM and BI tools, keeping both internal teams and dealer leaders informed.
- Strong communicator who builds trust and fosters collaboration.
- Highly adaptable with a proactive, problem‑solving approach.
- Results‑oriented, passionate about driving growth and achieving goals.
- Skilled at influencing and motivating others to succeed.
- Bachelor’s degree or 5‑7+ years of equivalent experience.
- 7+ years in industrial product sales, preferably with manufacturer or dealer networks.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Salesforce experience.
- Knowledge of wholesale and retail parts/service operations and lift‑truck markets.
- Experience developing and implementing marketing plans targeting dealer leadership.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and BI tools for performance tracking.
- Strong sales and marketing expertise with proven ability to coach and lead.
- Excellent time‑management and territory‑planning skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and action ably.
