This individual‑contributor role reports to the RVP, Commercial Sales Majors & Enterprise.
What you’ll doThe Account Executive is a highly motivated self‑starter responsible for developing and closing new business or expanding our footprint in current customers within an assigned geographic territory. The AE is accountable for exceeding monthly and quarterly quotas, proactive deal management, forecast accuracy, and driving adoption and usage with customers and prospects in collaboration with internal teams and the broader Docusign partner ecosystem.
Responsibilities- Qualify Enterprise sales opportunities based on Docusign’s sales methodology and metrics, including customer fit, needs, requirements, and success criteria.
- Build and execute Enterprise plans for each target account.
- Leverage internal resources (Senior Executives, Presales, Professional Services, Legal) in Sales Campaigns to ensure sales success.
- Work effectively with peers at Docusign’s key partners to deliver joint value propositions for Enterprise customers.
- Develop and deliver customized sales presentations and product demonstrations by phone and web demo tailored to the Enterprise customer audience.
- Uncover Enterprise customer needs and develop relationships within the assigned accounts across all lines of business, including IT, Procurement, and Senior Management.
- Seek new Enterprise business opportunities consistently by presenting, recommending, and upselling new Docusign products, services, and partner solutions.
- Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement accurately through proper use of sales tools.
- Close lower‑value Enterprise sales opportunities while driving and managing larger, complex Enterprise sales deals.
Employee divides time between in‑office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. Minimum 2 days per week in office, with weekly in‑office expectations.
What you bring Basic- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of direct sales experience in an Account Executive role or equivalent quota‑carrying role.
- Proven track record of success in large Enterprise space clients in Asia.
- Proven track record of success in delivering digital value‑based SaaS solutions to large Enterprise space clients.
- Knowledge of several industry verticals such as High Tech, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Professional Services, Banking, and Insurance.
- Align value‑based solutions with a customer’s strategic objectives.
- Willingness and ability to travel as necessary, typically about 50%.
- Understand how to sell value and ROI to C‑Level executives as well as sell into a line of business.
