Position: Account Executive - Splunk Commercial SLED (Remote)

Account Executive – Splunk Commercial SLED (Remote)

Splunk, a Cisco company, builds a safer and more resilient digital world with an end‑to‑end full‑stack platform for hybrid, multi‑cloud environments. The Account Executive will expand and grow territories for Splunk Public Sector in Commercial SLED accounts, selling the award‑winning platform into tribal communities and other Commercial SLED customers.

Your Impact
  • Expand and grow territories for Splunk Public Sector in Commercial SLED accounts.
  • Prospect and lead‑generate; conduct inbound and outbound lead qualification.
  • Schedule product demos for qualified prospects.
  • Build and foster client relationships; communicate value of products and services.
  • Accurately forecast opportunities based upon realistic assessments.
  • Meet or exceed assigned revenue goals.
  • Partner with field representatives and support attendance at field marketing events.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience selling enterprise IT solutions (BI, data analytics, security software, risk management software, or networking performance).
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience selling IT solutions to SLED and/or Federal accounts.
  • Consultative sales experience; ability to challenge companies/businesses to think differently.
  • Cold‑calling, hunting for business, and uncovering new opportunities.
  • Own and manage the entire sales process and cycle from start to finish.
  • Proven track record of exceeding goals and quota.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Technical aptitude and computer skills (CRM, Word, Excel, Salesforce).
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Self‑starter; able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Conflict resolution and interpersonal skills.
Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Science, or equivalent experience.

Starting salary range: $127,200 to $174,900 (excluding incentive compensation, equity, or benefits). Additional benefits are available for U.S. employees.
