Your role and responsibilitiesThis position is responsible for executing the Water Segment go-to market strategy in the assigned region in conjunction with the water channel partners. This includes identifying and developing target accounts (consulting engineers, municipalities, system integrators). Developing these accounts includes gaining specification position with both municipalities and consulting engineers, to increase sales, market penetration and the position of ABB and our products.
Develop and manage the water channel partner relationship, sales plan and growth targets. This includes determining long-term strategic goals, building and maintaining customer relationships, and securing specification position and sales growth. Tactical responsibilities include developing sales strategies, sales training for channel partners and maintaining a project pipeline in CRM.

You will be mainly accountable for- Driving Water Segment Sales: Lead and grow water solution sales for Low Voltage Drives by developing territory plans, collaborating with channel partners, and meeting/exceeding assigned sales targets.
- Building Strategic Relationships: Establish strong, multi-level customer relationships to become a trusted advisor and create preference for ABB products.
- Promoting ABB Solutions: Deliver technical presentations and value propositions to consulting engineers, municipalities, and system integrators to influence specifications and adoption of ABB VFDs.
- Market Intelligence & Compliance
:
Provide feedback for product development, maintain accurate CRM pipeline, stay current on industry trends, attend events, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Bachelor's degree (Engineering preferred) with minimum 8 years OR Associate’s degree with minimum 10 years of manufacturing sales experience and prior track record of selling into the municipal water industry including selling to consulting engineers
- Preferred Experience Includes: Market knowledge in Low Voltage Drives and related systems, Ability to attract, acquire and maintain new customers through detailed product knowledge presentations to decision makers, Advanced proficiency in:
Microsoft Office 365:
Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Salesforce, Work Day, PMP – Certification - Ability to travel up to 50%
- Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
