Business Development ExecutiveJoin or sign in to find your next job. The Business Development Executive role is located in our Sheffield office within the r2c Online division of the Fuel & Fleet Maintenance line of business.
Your roleIn this permanent, full‑time position you will work within a high‑performing team to grow r2c's commercial presence. Your responsibilities include:
- Identifying business opportunities by sourcing prospects and evaluating their fleet maintenance needs.
- Harvesting sales channels within target markets, including business networking, exhibitions, sponsorship events, telephone solicitation, and product demonstrations.
- Consultatively selling the r2c Online platform solutions by understanding client needs, presenting solutions, and explaining our value proposition and product portfolio.
- Managing client on‑boarding processes while maintaining an exemplary customer experience.
How we work
- Based in the Sheffield office; 3‑4 days per week in office, 1‑2 days per week in the field.
- Business hours:
Monday – Friday, 08:30 am – 05:00 pm.
- Assigned workspace in office and home office setup

- Proven sales and analytical skills for successful business generation.
- Previous outbound B2B phone marketing or sales experience, ideally in the SaaS space.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- Self‑motivated and focused, with effective organisational and time‑management skills.
- Professional demeanour toward prospective and current clients, coupled with strong listening skills.
- Ability to work as a team player toward a specific sales goal.
