Business Development Representative - Nomios Netherlands

In support of our continued growth, we are seeking a Business Development Representative to join our UK&I team and focus on pro‑active outbound lead generation and pipeline development. This role offers an opportunity for a motivated individual with a proactive mindset and a desire to grow their career within a fast‑paced, innovative and rapidly growing cybersecurity business. It is a key role supporting revenue growth through outbound lead generation, sales pipeline development and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Your role

As a BDR at Nomios UK&I, your primary focus will be on outbound lead generation to support our growth strategy. You’ll be the first point of contact with prospective customers, helping drive awareness and demand for our cybersecurity and networking solutions. You will engage with key stakeholders across various industries through proactive outreach, email campaigns, Linked In engagement and event follow‑ups.

You will identify needs and qualify interest, helping build a strong sales pipeline for our commercial team. Working closely with marketing and sales colleagues, you’ll provide feedback on campaign performance and help refine our approach to prospecting. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in our commercial engine, with potential career progression into account management.

Key responsibilities
  • Proactively source and qualify new business leads through targeted outbound outreach.
  • Use a mix of outreach techniques, including cold calling, email sequencing and other methods to connect with key decision‑makers and generate interest.
  • Book high‑quality meetings by understanding prospect challenges, needs and timelines.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing and sales to refine campaigns and outreach strategy.
  • Keep CRM activity accurate and up to date to maintain momentum in the sales funnel.
  • Nurture early‑stage conversations and help move prospects closer to becoming customers.
  • Stay informed on market trends and competitor developments to sharpen outreach.
  • Attend relevant events to represent Nomios and create meaningful business connections.
  • Share prospect feedback and learnings to support continuous improvement in lead generation.

Job specifics
  • Location:

    Basingstoke office with flexibility for occasional home working.
  • Hours:

    Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm; flexibility required for events and client visits.
  • Travel:
    Occasional travel to customer sites and events; full UK driving licence required.
