EF Educational Tours helps teachers change their students’ lives through educational travel. Our itineraries blend experiential learning with meaningful cultural exposure, inspiring curiosity, confidence, and self-awareness in teachers and students across Canada. Our mission is to open the world through education—helping people see new places, experience new cultures, and learn about the world and themselves.
As an Educational Program Specialist, you’ll join our sales team to manage and grow a territory of existing and prospective clients. You’ll make outbound sales calls to teachers across Canada and cultivate long-term customer relationships, sharing the benefits of experiential learning and helping to sign up groups of students for impactful travel experiences to meet your goals.
You’ll drive growth through proactive outreach, turning fresh prospects into long-term partners. If you’re energized by cold calling, building a pipeline from scratch, and hitting ambitious targets, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new customers within your assigned territory.
- Manage your territory as a business: prospecting, pipeline development, relationship-building, and closing deals.
- Generate new leads through strategic prospecting: outbound calls, networking, email campaigns, and exploring new markets.
- Forecast and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Refine sales techniques and support customers via email, phone, online presentations, and in-person meetings.
- Collaborate with internal operations to ensure successful delivery of travel experiences.
- Promote programs that transform students’ lives with energy, focus, and a sense of fun—plus, you travel too!
Who You Are
- Ambitious for a sales career with real responsibility and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Goal-oriented and motivated by hitting and surpassing targets.
- Driven to open doors, uncover prospects, and convert “no” into “yes.”
- Competitive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Adaptable and resourceful, able to navigate tough calls and creative outreach.
- Strong persuasive communication and natural networking skills.
- Self-starter who refuses to say, “that’s not my job.”
- Detail-oriented with the ability to move quickly while keeping the big picture in view.
- Confident in your sales abilities and eager to prove them.
- Interested in joining a team that inspires you and going above and beyond.
- Some sales or prospecting experience is a plus, but not required; our comprehensive training program will prepare you for success.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
