Position Overview :

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated North America Account Executive to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing high-value enterprise opportunities for our SaaS-based learning management system. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in B2B enterprise sales, particularly within the SaaS space, and a deep understanding of how large enterprise organizations make purchasing decisions for software solutions.

You will be expected to own and drive the sales process, from prospecting to closing, and will work closely with both internal teams and key stakeholders within prospective client organizations. The role requires a strategic and consultative approach to selling, leveraging value-based selling techniques to clearly demonstrate the business value of our solutions.

What you’ll do :

  • Sales Strategy & Execution :
    Own the full sales cycle for enterprise accounts, including prospecting, qualification, needs assessment, solution presentation, negotiation and closing.
  • Value Selling :
    Utilize a deep understanding of value-based selling methodologies to align CYPHER Learning's solutions with the business goals of enterprise prospects. Develop tailored presentations that address pain points and articulate a clear ROI for prospective clients.
  • Prospecting & Pipeline Development :
    Proactively identify and target new enterprise business opportunities through strategic outreach, networking, and building relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Enterprise Procurement Processes :
    Demonstrate an understanding of how large enterprise organizations make purchasing decisions, navigate procurement processes, and manage long sales cycles. Lead discussions on budget, contract negotiations, and the technical evaluation process.
  • Customer Relationship Management :
    Build and maintain long-term relationships with C-level executives, decision-makers, and other key stakeholders at target organizations. Act as a trusted advisor to the customer throughout the sales process.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration :
    Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure smooth sales handoffs to deliver an exceptional experience to customers post-sales.
  • Market Intelligence :
    Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and evolving customer needs to position CYPHER Learning as the preferred LMS solution for enterprise-level organizations.
  • Quota Achievement :
    Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets and KPIs. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities in CRM (Salesforce, Hub Spot, etc.).

Your Skills & Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, ideally in SaaS, EdTech, or a related industry required.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and goals.
  • Experience selling to decision-makers in organizations (C-suite, VPs, directors).
  • Strong understanding of the sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing and post-sale account management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate the value of complex solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
