Position Overview:

As a Scientific Sales and Marketing Representative, you will promote our diagnostic test strips, build strategic partnerships, and drive sales growth within the food and beverage industry. This role suits a motivated self-starter with a passion for both sales and marketing and a basic scientific understanding of chemistry or biochemistry to contribute to our mission of revolutionizing quality control in the sector.

• Develop and execute targeted sales and marketing strategies to promote our diagnostic test strips and drive revenue growth within the food and beverage industry.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships, distribution channels, and key accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with food and beverage manufacturers, regulatory agencies, and industry influencers to drive brand awareness and market penetration.
• Lead by example, motivating and inspiring coworkers by sharing customer feedback.
• Collaborate with the founder/CEO and product development team to align sales and marketing efforts with product enhancements and new launches.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats, and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Provide input into product development and marketing strategies based on customer needs and market dynamics.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to showcase products and expand reach.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a New Jersey-based college in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Digital Marketing, Sales Management, Market Research, Public Relations, Advertising, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
• 3+ years in sales, marketing, or a scientifically related field.
• Basic scientific knowledge in chemistry or biochemistry to communicate the value proposition of the products.
• Positive mindset with a passion for developing team members and a results-oriented, growth-driven attitude.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence others.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently alongside scientific and manufacturing operations.
• Experience with web design, graphic design, e-commerce, digital marketing tools, and social media is a plus.

• Competitive base salary of $40,000 - $55,000 per year, with opportunities for salary growth or commission based on sales performance and customer acquisition.
