How You Will ContributeAs a New Home Sales Consultant you’ll cultivate relationships for on‑your‑land homebuilding, provide a positive and stress‑free experience for the buyer, generate and nurture leads, present home designs, manage jurisdictional requirements, and guide customers from the Online Home Concierge handoff to a signed contract.
Responsibilities- Provide unparalleled customer service and guide customers through the home‑building journey.
- Meet potential buyers and explain the requirements to build a Simplicity Home on their lot(s).
- Work with customers and senior project managers to gather jurisdictional and utility information to determine buildability.
- Accurately document information in the contract and CRM software.
- Use marketing initiatives to grow brand awareness and generate sales traffic.
- Participate in recurring sales training via our proprietary platform and in person.
- Collaborate with the sales team and present quarterly business plans to builder partners to meet sales goals.
- Schedule
- Availability to work on job sites and in the field for regular work schedule, including weekends required.
- Ability to organize and set your schedule to generate sales.
- Skills
- Ability to target, receive, and manage qualified leads with strong follow‑up skills and disciplined execution.
- Passion and skill for interacting with customers in large purchase decisions.
- Comfortable in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and disciplined follow‑up.
- Proficient computer knowledge (MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Specialized Knowledge / Professional Certification
- Entrepreneurial mindset.
- Valid driver’s license and current liability insurance required; reliable transportation for travel.
- Education
- Associate’s degree or above (preferred) or equivalent education/work experience.
- Experience
- 5+ years in professional sales or customer service.
- Mortgage, construction, and build‑on‑your‑lot real estate experience strongly preferred.
- Annual base salary $24,000 – $48,000 plus uncapped commissions; first‑year income earning potential $80,000 – $100,000.
- Paid time off: up to 10 days vacation annually, 5 days paid sick & safe time, seven paid holidays, birthday off.
