Field Wholesaler

Overview

Join to apply for the Field Wholesaler role at Pacific Life. This is a remote position serving Texas and Louisiana, with responsibilities to grow the territory, recruit new relationships, and educate partners on our products and services.

The Regional Vice President - Independent Financial Professional (RVP-IFP) works to grow the territory both vertically and horizontally. They recruit new relationships to Pacific Life and collaborate with existing relationships to increase market share. They provide education on our products and services, marketing support, case design ideas, underwriting fulfillment support, practice development, and customer service. Extensive travel is required, and a broad knowledge of life insurance products, underwriting, and marketing is essential.

Each RVP-IFP develops and executes a business plan for their territory and recruits and develops new firms that may not currently sell life insurance, as well as working with advisors and firms that do already sell life insurance to incorporate Pacific Life into their client offering.

• Manage and develop existing producer relationships and recruit new relationships.
• Execute marketing campaigns, attend company, industry and intermediary meetings, speak in front of groups, and collaborate with internal sales, case design, and underwriting partners.
• Work with peers on sales ideas and develop a business plan for the territory.
• Travel extensively and apply broad industry knowledge of best practices, products, underwriting, and marketing of life insurance.

• Basic computer knowledge; strong communication and interpersonal skills; highly organized; goal oriented; self-starter; history of successful sales results; industry experience; professional designations desirable.
• Life and long-term care (LTC) licensed in territory states;
  Series 6 and 63 licenses. Salesforce proficiency is desirable and used to capture activity and results.
• 5+ years of life insurance industry experience.

The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate depends on experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
